Darlington FC - Pubs
Food and Drink
If you’re looking for somewhere to have a beer before, or indeed after the game, the town centre offers the best choice. The market square has fan-friendly pubs such as The Pennyweight and opposite The Hole In The Wall. Also in town are two Wetherspoon’s – the Tanners Hall in Skinnergate but best is the vast William Stead in Crown Street, which is handy for the shuttle/service buses.

For food, if you don’t fancy the usual pub grub, the town centre offers chain take-aways, including Burger King in the shopping centre. Slightly nearer the ground is a fish and chip shop in Neasham Road (opposite Matalan), the East End fish bar at the far end of Neasham Road past the station and a sandwich bar in Yarm Road (3/4 mile from the ground). Whilst not a huge number, there is a pretty good selection of restaurants, from Italian, Indian, French, Thai to West Indian.
